Greg Persinger’s team wins opener in curling nationals | Sports

FAIRBANKS — Fairbanks’ Greg Persinger, who hoisted the USA Curling males’s nationwide championship trophy two years in the past, acquired his team off to an excellent begin Saturday in this yr’s nationwide event in Fargo, North Dakota.

Team Farrell play towards a pair of Team Podolls, from Fargo. Team Ann Podoll takes on Team Farrell at 9 a.m. AKST and Team Farrell slides stones towards Team Beth Podoll, beginning at Four p.m. AKST.

Team Sinclair opens towards Team Emily Anderson, of Broomall, Pennsylvania at 9 a.m., and faces Team Kim Rhyme, of Minneapolis, at Four p.m.
